συνᾴδω ,
A.= συναείδω (q. v.), sing with or together, accompany in a song, “μετά τινων τὸν παιᾶναAeschin.2.163; ς. παιᾶνά τινι ib.162; “ς. ᾠδάνAr.Av.858 (lyr.); also of an instrument, Plu.Alc.2: metaph., Id.2.55d.
2. generally, to be in accord with, agree with, τινι Ar. Lys.1088, Pl.Phd.92c, etc.; “ταὐτόνId.R.432a; “ἐν μακρῷ γήρᾳ ξ. τινίS.OT1113: abs., to be in unison, opp. διᾴδειν, Heraclit.10, cf. Pl. Prt.333a.
II. trans., sing of or celebrate together, τινα Theoc. 10.24.
